Travis Scott, Tyler The Creator & Virgil Abloh Lead the Charge in This Week's Best Footwear Drops

Alongside drops from UNDERCOVER x Converse, Kiko Kostadinov x ASICS, adidas x Reebok, and much more.

Another new week, another slate of seasonally-appropriate footwear drops to help you transition into your winter wardrobe. It’s important to make sure that you’re up-to-date, especially with the holiday season’s madness right around the corner, so before we check out the best kicks this week has to offer, let’s recap everything that went down over the last seven days as well.
From a performance standpoint, the biggest news came from Nike Running, which premiered its new React Infinity Run, featuring a design that was crafted to reduce injuries and with 24% more React foam than previous running models. With every holiday season comes collaborative Nike and Doernbecher Children’s Hospital product too, so 2019’s collection — the 15th such to be presented — was officially unveiled.
High fashion brands and retailers got in on the action too. We gave an exclusive on-foot look at Virgil Abloh’s regional “NYC” and “Chicago” takes on Louis Vuitton’s LV Trainer Hi 408; we also saw Prada and adidas announce a partnership; and we also had Slam Jam announce a follow-up to their popular Nike Blazer collaboration.
Talking collaborations, there was a compelling slate of news to fit all tastes. It was revealed that Stussy and Nike were working on another footwear capsule, consisting of fresh takes on the Air Zoom Spiridon and Benassi slides. It’s not supposed to arrive until next spring, but whenever the two titans of industry link up, anticipation is understandably high. Tyler, The Creator’s and Converse’s GOLF le FLEUR* partnership is set to enter its next chapter as well, thanks to chenille-equipped Chuck 70s and a brand-new chunky silhouette dubbed the Gianno Ox.
Last but never least, it wouldn’t be a week in sneakers without some buzz from the ever-influential Kanye West and his adidas YEEZY line either. West made waves by officially debuting his adidas YEEZY Clog, a slip-on design that’s constructed partially of algae, proving that his oft-discussed move towards sustainability is a sincere effort. The YEEZY BOOST 380 “Alien,” YEEZY BOOST 350 v2 “Desert Sage,” and YEEZY BOOST 700 v3 “Azael” all snuck in as well. Interestingly enough, adidas’s third quarter sales results hinted at slowed Yeezy sales.
Now that the majority of last week’s news is out of the way, we can dive right in to this week’s releases, so you can take a look at what’s en route from your favorite footwear brands. Take a look at the full list below, and let us know what you’re looking forward to the most.
